With sleek, chrome, curved lines and muted beige and grey interior,
this is like an ocean liner among Victoria's cross-Channel ferry fast-food
places. Lebanese - the outstanding cuisine of the Levant - is the order
of the day, but on 25 December there's roast turkey and lamb along with
the usual grilled meat and array of meze. Orange blossom, rosewater
and mango ice-creams make a memorable ending. Bookings are being taken
all day for Wednesday, when it's open as usual.
